It's that time of the year again. All fans of NBA 2K are searching far and wide to discover their most loved players' ratings for the next season of the highly-rated video game series. It appears the 2K23 MT Chicago Bulls' ratings have been revealed based on the leaked image, which circulated on Twitter. Let's take one look.
DeMar DeRozan has been rated as the Bulls top-rated player. DeRozan has the highest overall rating, a 90 rating following a DeMarvelous first game in Chicago. Did I mention that? Zach LaVine follows with an average of 88. In the beginning of July, leaks of the starters' ratings was released across the internet. A majority of the information from the original leak are exact when cross-checked with Tuesday's updated leak.
One thing I cannot observe is that Patrick Williams is a 74 overall, instead of a 75.It's very odd that NBA 2K23 ranks Williams at a point higher than Chicago Bulls' reserve center Tony Bradley. Although Williams was absent for the majority of the 2022-23 season due to wrist injuries, this number isn't too high for the third-year forward out of Florida State.Additionally there's an Chicago Bulls' player missing from the NBA 2K23 leaked ratings. This player includes first-year player Dalen Terry.
I'm not ashamed to admit that year after year I'm concerned to much about what this game has to tell us, and yet, we also cannot deny that it gives us with a decent idea about how players are perceived in the upcoming year. It's a huge power ranking for almost every player on the field - one that actually lends the Bulls team some respect this year.
NBA 2K23 has announced that DeMar DeRozan checks in at 89 overall while Zach LaVine will enter the season set at 88. The ranking is a pretty significant boost for DeRozan following having started the year with just 85. As for LaVine, however, he has only moved one spot up over NBA 2K22's 87.While I'm convinced that each is worthy of hitting that 90s threshold they've been aiming for having 88 and 89 put them in pretty good company.
For instance, DeRozan is placed ahead of Rudy Gobert and just two spots just behind Devin Booker. LaVine ranks higher than players such as Zion Williamson and Jaylen Brown. One other thing that LaVine has an advantage over is the top place on the charts of dunking. LaVine's score of 95 places him behind by only Ja Morant and Zion Williamson as one of most slammers of the league.
The rest of the Bulls' roster has not yet been confirmed, however, 2KRatings.com has an unofficial list that is worth looking at. Behind DeRozan and LaVine and LaVine - which should come as no surprise - is an 83-overall Nikola Vucevic, followed by Lonzo Ball, who scored 82 in addition to Andre Drummond with a somewhat unsettling 81.
The most sobering ranking comes tied to the player with perhaps the most high expectations. At present, Patrick Williams is only listed as a 74. which places him alongside Goran Dragic as well as Derrick Jones Jr. yet leaves him behind ... Tony BRADLEY! ?
Fortunately this game will be released on September 9th, all these figures will be subject to changes. The game will update based on how players perform through the entire year and I'm looking forward to seeing every single member of Buy NBA 2K23 MT this Bulls team move up the leaderboards during month of October (those aren't unreasonable expectations, right? )!
