Stakeholders in CCM
The role of CIDB is to develop the standards, guidelines, and reference materials. This include establishing the processes and procedures for all parties to comply to ensure the effective provision of the CCM certification and training.
Pusat Latihan Bertauliah (PLB)
All PLBs must be appointed by CIDB before they can undertake any CCM certification and training. Their roles and responsibilities in implementing the training and certification cover the tasks as follows:
a) Pre-training tasks
b) Tasks during training
c) Post-training tasks
Specialized Module Trainers (SMT)
SMT is a trainer who has undergone and passed the Train Specialized Training (TST) before he/she is appointed by CIDB to deliver the CCM training. The TST is aimed at producing Specialised Module Trainers. Each SMT will be allowed a maximum of three (3) CCM modules to train.
A Master Trainer is the CCM subject matter expert (SME) identified and appointed by CIDB to assist deliver the TST.
How to get Certified?
You can become a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) through various routes:
Route 1 – Training & Assessment with CIDB Approved PLB
Route 2 – Assessment Only with CIDB Approved PLB
Route 3 – Interview based on Recognition Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE)
